Live Music at MBC Cherry St: Sunday Jam Session with Garfield High School Jazz Combo

Garfield Jazz is back at MBC Cherry St, hosting an end-of-the-school-year jam session open to all! The combo will play a set, then open the stage to fellow musicians who wish to jam with them.

Garfield’s jazz program was built 45 years ago by legendary music director Clarence Acox and his dedicated student musicians. It continues under the stewardship of current director Jared Sessink, who has focused on perpetuating musical excellence while also fostering a supportive community amongst his students. garfieldjazz.org
