Garfield Super Block Artist Talks

Meet the artists who will bring the Garfield Super Block to life! 16 selected artists with ties to the Central District are creating original artwork to be installed in Garfield Park commemorating seven historical cultures that lived and thrived in this neighborhood.

Hosted at MBC Cherry St, this event series offers the opportunity to learn about the artists and their work through this series of summer events. Artists will discuss their designs and the process of creating original public art, as well as the Central District’s history and cultural heritage.
