Open Position: Beer Tender

What We’re Looking For
We are currently looking for a dynamic, service-minded Beer Tender who is enthusiastic about the craft beer world and looking for an opportunity to grow with a rising brewery that has big plans for the future. Applicants must have some service industry experience, preferably with beer, and knowledge about different styles of beer. Above all, applicants must be able to provide excellent customer service, have a great work ethic, and a positive attitude. We are a team-oriented company and value what everyone brings to the table.
Qualifications & Responsibilities
- Greet customers and welcome them to the space
- Interact with guests and develop positive customer relationships. Answer questions and educate guests about Métier Brewing, our beer styles, our mission, and our history
- Experience handling cash and processing transactions through POS
- Obtain a MAST permit and regularly ID patrons to ensure compliance with the law
- Promote merchandise, to-go beer, events, and daily specials
- Complete all paperwork involved in day-to-day operations
- Maintain comfort and cleanliness throughout the taproom, storage areas, cooler, kids play area, and restrooms
- Attend staff meetings, events, and other functions, as needed
- Work as a team to accomplish daily tasks and opening and closing duties
- Must be able to work weekends! We are open Thursday - Sunday
- Applicants should be of legal drinking age (21 years or older)
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift or move 40 lbs
- Stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
