Artist Bio:
TR Miles is self-titled as a ‘Pixel Painter,’ ‘The Original Digital,’ and ‘Digital Jazz Artist.’ He is a Seattle-based artist and possibly the most unique ‘Sports & Entertainment’ artist on the planet.
His style, “Broken Glass Art,” is expanding the scope and thinking about computer-generated art. “Broken Glass Art” is an explosive blend of abstraction and realism, which creates dynamic movement and mythical characterizations of the subjects.
Miles uses the mouse to create shapes (after shapes) that resemble pieces of glass. The conglomerate of shapes forges the images. The action is very improvisational and loose. There’s extreme abstraction with the shapes themselves, yet the overall image is definite.
He says, the shape creation is like a jazz solo in that you essentially try to get out of your own way and just let it flow; all while staying true to a particular “song”. “That’s the precise element!”
Broken Glass Art is truly a unique style and one that many haven’t seen yet.
