His accolades include numerous awards and honors\, with a notable second-place finish in the prestigious Ron Carter Jazz Bassist competition. \nTrevor’s career has seen him perform in Denver\, Boston\, and now Seattle\, both as a sideman and a bandleader. His impressive resume has seen him share the stage with jazz luminaries such as Orrin Evans\, Anat Cohen\, and the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra\, as well as Reggie Watkins\, Roger Humphries\, Thomas Marriott\, and Marina Albero. Trevor’s dedication to his craft and his ability to connect with audiences have solidified him as one of the PNW’s great jazz bassists.

DESCRIPTION:Introducing the Chris Patin Band as the Folklife resident at MBC Cherry St from May to July 2025! Chris and his crew will play MBC Cherry ST the first Thursday of every month from 7-9 pm. \nChris Patin (Pot-tan) is a locally raised Seattle musician with Louisiana roots who began playing music at the age of 4. He played classical piano for 10 years\, but his primary instrument is percussion\, which he began playing at the age of 12. He honed his musical craft at the legendary jazz programs at Washington Middle School and Garfield High School\, under the direction of Robert Knatt and Clarence Acox. \nHe attended Hampton University in Virginia on a music scholarship\, where he continued his formal music education in music performance with a jazz emphasis. After graduation\, he spent several years as a touring jazz musician and had the privilege of playing with world-class musicians all over the nation and the world. Chris is now based back in the Seattle area where he continues to play and teach music primarily. He was the co-founder and musical director of the award-winning Pacific Northwest Drumline in South Seattle.

DESCRIPTION:MBC Anniverthday Week \nMBC’s very own William Muñoz closes out our anniverthday week at MBC Woodinville! A renowned trumpet player and teacher\, we are so excited to see William share more of his talents with MBC! \nDr. William Muñoz earned a B.A. in Music from the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music. As well as earning an M.M. and D.M.A. in trumpet performance from the University of Kansas. \nHe currently lives in Seattle\, where he teaches and performs. He has taught students of all ages and levels\, and in addition to trumpet lessons\, he has taught history and theory courses at the university level. \nDr. Muñoz has substantial performance experience in different genres and styles of music\, including Classical\, Latin\, Latin Jazz\, and Jazz. In addition to commercial ensembles\, he has also performed with professional orchestras such as the Minnesota Symphony Orchestra\, Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra\, Puerto Rico Philharmonic Orchestra\, and the Kansas City Symphony. \nInstagram @williammunoz.music

DESCRIPTION:Sedona Rose is nothing short of a powerhouse performer\, and we are so lucky to host her at the MBC Woodinville taproom for this 4-month residency that started back in January. Friend of the brewery\, and local artist who has jetsetted her music career all over the country and beyond\, Sedona Rose’s musical talents radiate through her unique sound. \nLearn more about Sedona Rose at sedonarosemusic.com – be sure to keep up with all her upcoming gigs via her website and Instagram @sedonarose.music \nAbout the artist: \nSedona Rose is a 25 year old singer/songwriter from Washington State. During her formative years\, she taught herself to play drums\, piano\, and guitar. By age 17\, she began writing her own original songs with the support and mentorship of Pat Monahan\, lead singer of the Grammy Award winning band\, Train. Since then\, she has performed on stage with Train numerous times across the United States. \nSedona Rose has performed as a featured solo artist on Train’s music festival cruise ‘Sail Across the Sun’ three times. Her musical style ranges from pop\, rock\, reggae to folk. Her musical influences include Tom Petty\, Fleetwood Mac\, Ed Sheeran\, and Noah Kahan. Sedona Rose studied music at the University of Washington in Seattle and once graduated\, began touring through various locations in the western US. She has showed off her musical talents at venues throughout Washington\, California\, Colorado\, Nevada\, and Idaho. Most notably\, she has toured through Northern California numerous times\, performing mostly in the Napa and San Francisco Bay areas. \n“Through her accessible songwriting\, clear and controlled vocals\, and her willingness to put in the hours of work necessary\, the future is exciting for Sedona. It’s odd to think about because sharing the stage with a band as big as Train would be a reasonable definition of success for a musical artist\, but for Sedona that was only the beginning.” (Julien A. He honed his musical craft at the legendary jazz programs at Washington Middle School and Garfield High School\, under the direction of Robert Knatt and Clarence Acox. \nHe attended Hampton University in Virginia on a music scholarship\, where he continued his formal music education in music performance with a jazz emphasis. After graduation\, he spent several years as a touring jazz musician and had the privilege of playing with world-class musicians all over the nation and the world. Chris is now based back in the Seattle area where he continues to play and teach music primarily. He was the co-founder and musical director of the award-winning Pacific Northwest Drumline in South Seattle.

DESCRIPTION:      Reggie Garrett has performed throughout the US and Canada for many years presenting mostly original songs mixed with pop covers and traditional folk ballads.  His music is quite diverse tapping into urban acoustic Folk music\, Gospel\, Latin rhythms\, Blues\, Celtic and many other forms.  He performs both solo and with his group Reggie Garrett & the SnakeOil Peddlers.  Since its inception Reggie has carved out his own unique sound.  He has been compared to acoustic legends Richie Havens and Bill Withers by the national folk publication Dirty Linen. He doesn’t consider himself to be a Bluesman – even so Living Blues  magazine featured him in an article in the August 2018 issue. \n\n\n      Mr. Garrett was trained and educated as an artist\, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from Williams College\, and a Masters in Painting from SUNY Albany.  Since then he has spent time as a starving artist in New York City\, worked as a Systems Engineer for IBM\, worked in computer center planning and disaster recovery planning and taught English\, History and Math at the high school level.  For a number of years he also taught in a college level program at that guided high school dropouts into and through college.  Through it all he has worked as a musician\, as a bassist and vocalist in several rock bands\, more recently as a vocalist and guitarist\, both solo and with his own ensembles.  He has six CD releases to his credit and has had songs included in a number of compilations over the years.

DESCRIPTION:Ann Reynolds and Clave Gringa @ MBC Woodinville \nCLAVE GRINGA is a Seattle-based Latin jazz ensemble showcasing the compositions of Ann Reynolds (Ann-ita). The music is Cuban-flavored\, makes you want to move. Their concerts are varied\, dynamic and engaging. The repertoire draws on traditional Cuban styles – from the European influenced danzón and chá to the Afro based rumba and 6/8 folkloric rhythms – with an infusion of jazz.\nThe band was formed in 2008 and has played in many clubs (Tula’s\, North City Bistro\, Royal Room) and festivals (Earshot\, Edmonds Art Festival) and concert events (Jazz Vespers\, Art of Jazz). Bandleader Ann Reynolds has traveled to Cuba many times to immerse herself in this music and present it in the states.
