DESCRIPTION:Year-3 of Folklife Sessions at Metier Brewing Company kick off this week with the Demarcus Baysmore Band! This will also be the start of his three month residency! Playing on the first Thursday of February\, March\, and April. \nAbout the artist: \nDemarcus Baysmore is a skilled and engaging guitarist from Texas who is best known for his jazz\, blues\, and funk musical stylings. He began playing at age twelve and has since performed across the northwest in venues both large and small with a wide variety of talented musicians throughout his career. \nDemarcus studied guitar at Oklahoma Baptist University and the Navy School of Music before joining Navy Band Northwest\, where he played and toured as their guitarist for four years. Upon moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2019\, Demarcus quickly became immersed in the Seattle music community and has collaborated with numerous musicians and groups as a performer\, writer\, and recording artist. \nInfluenced by musicians like Wes Montgomery\, Mark Lettieri\, and Tosin Abasi\, Demarcus aims to inspire creativity in not only his listeners\, but also fellow musicians and students through his music and teaching.

DESCRIPTION:Sedona Rose is nothing short of a powerhouse performer\, and we are so lucky to host her at the MBC Woodinville taproom for this 4-month residency that started back in January. Friend of the brewery\, and local artist who has jetsetted her music career all over the country and beyond\, Sedona Rose’s musical talents radiate through her unique sound. \nLearn more about Sedona Rose at sedonarosemusic.com – be sure to keep up with all her upcoming gigs via her website and Instagram @sedonarose.music \nAbout the artist: \nSedona Rose is a 25 year old singer/songwriter from Washington State. During her formative years\, she taught herself to play drums\, piano\, and guitar. By age 17\, she began writing her own original songs with the support and mentorship of Pat Monahan\, lead singer of the Grammy Award winning band\, Train. Since then\, she has performed on stage with Train numerous times across the United States. \nSedona Rose has performed as a featured solo artist on Train’s music festival cruise ‘Sail Across the Sun’ three times. Her musical style ranges from pop\, rock\, reggae to folk. Her musical influences include Tom Petty\, Fleetwood Mac\, Ed Sheeran\, and Noah Kahan. Sedona Rose studied music at the University of Washington in Seattle and once graduated\, began touring through various locations in the western US. She has showed off her musical talents at venues throughout Washington\, California\, Colorado\, Nevada\, and Idaho. Most notably\, she has toured through Northern California numerous times\, performing mostly in the Napa and San Francisco Bay areas. \n“Through her accessible songwriting\, clear and controlled vocals\, and her willingness to put in the hours of work necessary\, the future is exciting for Sedona. It’s odd to think about because sharing the stage with a band as big as Train would be a reasonable definition of success for a musical artist\, but for Sedona that was only the beginning.” (Julien A.
